The process
From sketch to shelf
I draw and paint every commission by hand, one book at a time.
01 · Sketch
I sketch the scene in pencil across the page edges.
02 · Paint
I build up the colour by hand, layer by layer.
03 · Finished
Protected with a fixative, signed and ready for your shelf.
Signature
Hand-painted
An original scene painted entirely by hand, designed around your idea or mine. I agree the design with you before I paint.

Sprayed + hand-painted details
A sprayed stencil design, finished by hand with one or two painted touches, like smoke, flames, light or stars. Fixed price.

For commission box sets, I confirm the final price before you pay. Sprayed edges, with or without hand-painted details, have one price per box set, however many books are in it.

Sealed by hand, sent with care
I wrap every book by hand and close it with my wax seal, ready to give as a gift.
